Dr Ram Ghimire is an experienced general physician and geriatrician who is highly passionate about managing adult as well as geriatric age group patients. He is personable, compassionate and reputed for his excellent communication skills and being empathic. He strongly believes in evidence-based medicine tailored to the individual patient’s need.

Dr Ghimire completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the reputed Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He accumulated wealth of knowledge and experience working at various hospitals across Queensland, New south wales, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory.

Dr Ghimire completed his Basic physician training at the Gold Coast University Hospital. He completed his subspeciality training program on general medicine and geriatrics through The Royal Darwin Hospital, The Wollongong Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. His training in various hospitals and exposure to different demographics ensured excellent clinical exposure in adult and geriatric medicine.

Dr Ghimire worked at Bowral hospital and Liverpool hospital in the early days of his specialist career and now spends significant amount of his time at the Campbelltown hospital and university of Western Sydney besides serving as a private geriatrician and general physician in the Macarthur area.

Besides consultations in English, he is fluent in Nepali and Hindi.  Dr Ghimire enjoys gardening, reading books, trekking and traveling.
